Doula Services Gainesville, FL

As a birth Doula, I believe in the power of a mother's intuition. I believe that there is something profoundly powerful that transcends us as we carry and birth our babies. During labor, I believe that a woman finds her own internal strength to transform into a Mother. And as a doula, I believe my role is to unconditionally provide the emotional, physical, and spiritual support so that a mother can fully engage in her own body, her own voice, her own vision, and her own strength to birth her baby the way she feels is most congruent with her heart.
"Be strong, be fearless, be beautiful. And believe that anything is possible when you have the right people there to support you." Misty Copeland

As a doula, I also facilitate communication with the staff to ensure that you have the information you need to make informed, evidence-based decisions regarding your baby’s birth. I provide reassurance and perspective to you and your partner, make suggestions for labor progress, and help with relaxation, massage, positioning and other techniques for your comfort. I am independent and self- employed, and as such, am working for YOU, not your caregiver or place of birth. My first and only priority is that you, as the mother, have your voice heard and your wishes met in order to welcome your new family member into your lives.
